Appreciate current moments


There was a pathetic day. My heart, mixed with different feelings and in emotionally depress. Deeply missing everything in Malaysia. Abah, family, teachers, course mates, sahabat and everything ! Eager to go back to Malaysia as soon as possible although a month left. Feeling want to cry all the time yet, no improvement from it and sometimes makes it worse.

At some point, I asked Allah for guidance and eliminate this feeling in me. knew it's not good for me and I knew it's the devil's strategy that brings me into this awfully bad mood. So that I become weaker and weaker in life.
اللّهمّ إنّى أعوذ بك من الهمّ والحزن
Kept  repeated the verse and did some self reflection. Suddenly bumped into a quote that really made me realized ! Its quote from Dr. Bilal Philips said that

" fewer worries, more smiles. Less thinking, more praying. Less blaming, more praising. Less of you, more of Allah. "

I realized in my life, always anxious and worried about the future. What will happens to me in the future. Will I be okay in the future next month, next year, next 5 years, next 10 years. Although I know that the future will not surely come cause we don't know when is the doom. And now I know that the main reason that made me sad was because always worries and less zikr.



Thinking about the past also made you feel sad. Please, never let the past and the future control your mind. But make the current moment as your main focus ! Its pointless to regret the past because its already leave you behind. Keep moving foward, determine not to do the same mistakes and let by gone be by gone.

Forget about the past, fewer think about the future, do the best and appreciate current moments because of ALLAH !
